Yes, but only about one listing in seven: of 141 priced 2-bedroom villa rentals in Canggu on 6 October 2026, 21 asked IDR 30 million a month or less and 8 asked IDR 25 million or less, against a median of IDR 40 million.
The cheap ones cluster on Canggu’s edges, not its centre. Kerobokan, toward Seminyak, had a 2-bedroom median of IDR 29 million (14 listings, 8 at or under IDR 30 million); Berawa’s median was IDR 45 million and only 2 of its 24 asked IDR 30 million, both titled as apartments; Batu Bolong and Umalas had none.

Where the cheaper 2-bedrooms actually are

Of the 21 Canggu listings at IDR 30 million or less, 8 were tagged Kerobokan and 2 Berawa; the other 11 carried no neighbourhood tag, and seven of those name the fringes in their titles — Babakan, Padonan, Tumbak Bayuh, Pantai Lima and Cemagi — rather than the Batu Bolong or Berawa beach roads. That is the trade: the budget buys the same bedroom count a few kilometres further from the busiest strip, or a unit in a complex rather than a stand-alone villa.

What the price does and does not include

These are asking rents, almost all quoted per month. Electricity is metered and billed separately in nearly every contract, and with air conditioning and a pool it is usually the largest running cost; water, pool and garden service vary by contract. The cheapest way to get under budget is the term. Industry reporting puts the monthly-payment premium at 10–30% over a year paid up front, so a villa listed at IDR 33–35 million a month can come in under IDR 30 million on an annual deal. Ask the yearly price before ruling a listing out.
