How it's measured
Asking prices from the live listings of Baliestate's partner agencies and developers, not transactions: Indonesia publishes no register of sale prices or rents.
A monthly rent counts only when the listing states a monthly price; nightly and doubtful terms are left out. A yearly rent is a villa the agency lets only by the year, at its yearly price. A sale counts when its price is not a placeholder; finished and off-plan homes are counted together, and a development priced from its cheapest unit is not counted.
The median is the middle asking price; the range runs from the 20th to the 80th percentile. A figure over fewer than 10 listings is not shown. 6 bed means six or more.
Dollar figures are approximate, at Rp 16,000 to the US dollar. Partner data as of 17 October 2026; recomputed every hour.
